Amid an ongoing controversy and circulating claims on social media, Sandeep Singh Yaduvanshi, Chairman of Maa Ambe Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Sciences, has issued a detailed clarification, terming the complaint against him as false and an attempt to defame both him and his institution. He has urged the media to present the facts objectively and help bring out the truth.
According to Yaduvanshi, on May 1, 2026, at around 3:15 PM, he received a call from Almora Kotwali asking him to appear at the police station regarding a dispute. He reached the Kotwali around 6:00 PM, where the other party, a journalist, and police officials were already present. In the presence of the Station House Officer and other officials, both sides presented their viewpoints.
He stated that, considering the seriousness of the matter, both parties mutually agreed to resolve the dispute amicably. Police officials suggested that to stop misleading posts and reels circulating on social media, both parties should record a joint video clarifying the situation. This suggestion was accepted voluntarily by both sides.
Yaduvanshi said that after leaving the police station, both parties went to a restaurant at Raghunath Mall, where a joint video was recorded with mutual consent. He emphasized that the video was made without any pressure and was later shared on both parties’ social media accounts.
He further claimed that the entire sequence of events—from the police station to the mall and the restaurant—is captured on CCTV cameras, which can verify his claims. Later in the night, he received calls from the other party requesting the removal of the video, which he complied with by deleting it from his social media accounts.
However, the next day, he came to know that a complaint had been filed against him at Almora Kotwali, alleging that he had threatened the other party and forced them to record the compromise video. Yaduvanshi strongly denied these allegations, stating that the discussions took place in the presence of police officials and no coercion was involved.
He alleged that certain individuals are misusing journalism and social media platforms to spread misleading information, thereby attempting to tarnish his image and that of his educational institution. He expressed concern that such actions could harm not only the reputation of the institute but also the safety of his family.
Yaduvanshi appealed to the media to verify facts thoroughly and prevent the spread of false information. He said he has full faith in the ethics and responsibility of journalism and hopes that the truth will prevail.
He also urged the administration to conduct a fair and impartial investigation into the matter and take strict action against anyone found spreading false allegations.
The incident has become a topic of discussion in the region, with people expecting a transparent inquiry so that the truth can come to light and unnecessary controversy can be resolved.
