Almora. On the occasion of Independence Day, Councillor Gunjan Chamyal donated blood at Base Hospital, Almora, conveying a message of social responsibility and humanitarian service.
Speaking on the occasion, Chamyal said that blood donation is an important form of service that can help save the lives of patients in need. She urged citizens to come forward and contribute to blood donation drives whenever possible.
She also appealed to people to remain aware of the needs of patients requiring blood and to help dispel misconceptions surrounding blood donation. Her initiative on the national occasion was appreciated as a meaningful contribution towards community service.
