Almora: On the third day of the ongoing Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Shri Narmadeshwar Mahadev Temple in Ranidhara, renowned storyteller Acharya Pankaj Joshi captivated devotees with a soulful narration of the sacred episode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Through the immortal tale, he beautifully described the unwavering love, devotion, and divine bond shared by the celestial couple, leaving the audience deeply emotional.
Addressing the gathering, Acharya Joshi announced that the next day’s discourse would feature a grand and vivid narration of Lord Krishna Janmotsav. He appealed to devotees to attend the event on time and seek spiritual blessings by participating in the celebrations.
The devotional atmosphere was further enriched by melodious bhajans performed during the musical discourse, filling the temple premises with devotion and spiritual fervour.
The yajman of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Pandit Harish Chandra Joshi, urged devotees from across the town to participate in the remaining sessions of the Katha. He also informed that a Maha Bhandara will be organised at the Katha venue on 10 August from 2:00 p.m. onwards, inviting all devotees to receive prasad and seek divine blessings.
Members of the Ranidhara Citizens’ Committee, along with devotees from various parts of Almora, attended the discourse in large numbers and experienced a spiritually uplifting evening.
