Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned from his post amid the ongoing protest by NEET students at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The protesting students had been demanding the resignation of the Education Minister over issues related to the NEET examination.
Announcing his resignation on social media platform X, Pradhan said that he had devoted more than four decades to students, teachers, and educational reforms. He stated that a strong, inclusive, and forward-looking education system is the foundation of a strong nation.
