Nine-day spiritual event organized during the auspicious Gupt Navratri

A spiritually uplifting Shrimad Devi Bhagwat Katha commenced at the sacred Kali Temple atop Falsima Dhaar on the auspicious occasion of Gupt Navratri. The nine-day religious event is witnessing the soulful recitation of the Devi Bhagwat Purana, glorifying the divine powers and stories of Goddess Durga.
Katha Vyas Acharya Sanjay Krishna Joshi, a devoted Durga worshipper, in his spiritual discourse emphasized that “satsang (holy company) is the true path to salvation.” He added, “Listening to the divine tales of the Goddess during Gupt Navratri fulfills one’s innermost desires and purifies the mind.”
Devotees from nearby villages as well as distant areas are attending the daily sessions in large numbers. The atmosphere around the temple has turned devotional with chants, bhajans, and the resonating vibrations of the Goddess’s glory.
The event is being organized with devotion and community effort by the Maa Kalika Seva Mandal, along with active participation from local residents and youth volunteers. The Katha venue has been beautifully decorated, with arrangements made for seating and prasad distribution for all attendees.
Organizers from the Seva Mandal informed that the Katha will conclude with a grand havan (sacred fire ritual) and community feast (bhandara), to which all devotees are cordially invited. This initiative not only strengthens spiritual devotion but also promotes community unity, service, and the preservation of rich cultural traditions.
The Devi Katha at Kali Temple, Falsima Dhaar, has become a beacon of faith, devotion, and divine inspiration for all devotees in the region.
