Champawat,
In the run-up to the 11th International Yoga Day, a yoga awareness campaign vehicle was ceremoniously flagged off in Champawat under the directions of the District Magistrate. The initiative aims to spread awareness about the benefits and importance of yoga across the district.
The vehicle was jointly flagged off by Dr. Anand Singh Gusain, District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, and Dr. Prakash Singh, District Nodal Officer for International Yoga Day (Champawat), with the support of the Information Department and office staff.
The awareness van will travel through various parts of the district, educating the public about the physical and mental health benefits of yoga, and encouraging more people to embrace it for a healthier lifestyle.
Dr. Gusain highlighted that this effort is part of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s visionary initiative to extend the benefits of yoga to every corner of the state. “Yoga not only strengthens the body but also brings mental balance and spiritual peace,” he said.
Ahead of International Yoga Day on June 21, several programs are being planned across Champawat district, the details of which will be publicized through this campaign vehicle.
