Almora: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President Mahesh Nayal has praised the leadership of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, stating that the state is witnessing unprecedented progress in development, governance, and public welfare under his leadership.
Addressing the media, Nayal said that Chief Minister Dhami has been consistently visiting districts, development blocks, and remote regions of the state to ensure that government schemes and welfare initiatives reach every section of society. According to him, the government’s flagship outreach campaign, “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar,” has significantly reduced the gap between the administration and the common people.
He said that through this initiative, thousands of citizens have received important certificates, welfare benefits, and various government services closer to their homes. The campaign has particularly benefited people living in rural and remote areas who previously had to travel long distances to access basic administrative services.
Nayal emphasized that Chief Minister Dhami has transformed governance by taking the administration beyond government offices and directly to villages, Nyaya Panchayats, and the last person in the queue. He described the Chief Minister as a leader committed to transparency, accountability, and people-centric governance.
He further stated that the state government has taken several important steps in sectors such as education, healthcare, road infrastructure, drinking water, tourism, employment generation, and women’s empowerment. Various initiatives aimed at attracting investment and creating employment opportunities for youth have also been launched under the Chief Minister’s leadership.
Referring to the Chief Minister’s recent visit to Almora, Nayal highlighted Dhami’s visit to the residence of martyr Lieutenant Beershwar Goswami in Pandekhola. He said the gesture reflected the Chief Minister’s deep respect for the armed forces and the sacrifices made by soldiers and their families. By personally meeting the bereaved family and offering condolences, the Chief Minister demonstrated the government’s commitment to standing with the families of martyrs.
Nayal also appreciated the announcement made during the public meeting in Danya regarding the construction of a memorial entrance gate in honor of martyr Lieutenant Beershwar Goswami. He said the initiative would preserve the memory of the brave soldier and inspire future generations with values of patriotism and national service.
The BJP leader said that the state government’s welfare-oriented policies have strengthened public confidence in the administration. According to him, development projects are reaching every section of society, including youth, women, farmers, workers, and entrepreneurs.
He added that BJP workers across the district remain committed to taking government achievements and welfare schemes to the grassroots level. The organization, he said, is working collectively to strengthen public participation in the state’s development journey.
Expressing confidence about the future, Nayal stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand will continue to achieve new milestones in development and governance. He also expressed optimism that the BJP would once again secure a strong mandate in the next Assembly elections, driven by the government’s performance, organizational strength, and public support.
He concluded by saying that the BJP government remains dedicated to building a prosperous, self-reliant, and progressive Uttarakhand, ensuring inclusive growth and better opportunities for every citizen of the state.
