The committee was informed that an elderly person’s health had suddenly deteriorated, and the family was unable to take him to the hospital due to financial and logistical constraints.
Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, members of the Red Cross Committee immediately reached Dhoongadhara with a stretcher and vehicle arranged on priority. The elderly patient was safely transported and admitted to the district hospital for urgent medical care.
