Almora.
Kumaon’s oldest and most prestigious Ramlila—organized annually by the Shri Nanda Devi Ramlila Committee—will once again be staged this year with traditional grandeur and devotion. A key meeting was held today in the rehearsal hall at Tripura Sundari Temple to ensure the successful execution of the 2025 Ramlila performances.
The meeting was presided over by Committee President Kuldeep Singh Mer, with Arjun Singh Bisht (Cheema) serving as the moderator in his role as Secretary. It was unanimously decided that the previous year’s executive committee would continue to hold responsibilities for this year’s event.
Ramlila rehearsals will begin from July 20, every evening at 7 PM. The committee warmly invites all interested artists and participants to attend the rehearsals on time and contribute to making the production grand and memorable.
