A review meeting was held at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Anshul Singh to assess pending forest land transfer cases related to development works such as roads, drinking water supply, and playgrounds in the district.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate conducted a detailed department-wise review of pending cases and directed concerned officials to ensure their speedy disposal on a priority basis. He clearly stated that any unnecessary delay in public welfare projects will not be tolerated.
The DM emphasized that essential services like roads, drinking water, and playgrounds are directly connected to public needs, and therefore, hurdles related to forest land in such projects must be resolved promptly through inter-departmental coordination. He instructed departments to maintain regular communication with the Forest Department and continuously monitor the progress of these cases.
It was also directed that cases with objections or deficiencies should be immediately rectified and resubmitted to avoid delays in approval. The District Magistrate urged all departments to work proactively and in coordination to accelerate development works and ensure timely benefits to the public.
The meeting was attended by Divisional Forest Officer Deepak Singh, Chief Development Officer Ramji Sharan Sharma, Additional District Magistrate Yukta Mishra, along with officials from various departments.
