On the auspicious occasion of the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram, the book “Indian Knowledge Tradition and Indian Knowledge System” was formally released at the Almora Municipal Corporation परिसर. The book is dedicated to the late Dr. Meenakshi Joshi Pathak.
The programme was graced by the presence of Prant Pramukh of Dharma Jagran Samanvay, Narayan Ji; Prant Culture Pramukh Arvind Chandra Joshi; RSS Vibhag Pracharak Shri Kamal Ji; Mayor Ajay Verma; Municipal Commissioner Seema Vishwakarma; SDM Sadar Sanjay Kumar; Deputy Superintendent of Police Gopal Dutt Joshi; chief speaker Prakash Chandra Joshi Ji; and Manorama Joshi, Director of Mangal Deep School, along with several other distinguished guests.
Among those present were Manoj Singh Pawar, Kumaon Division Convener of Dharma Jagran Samanvay; Prof. Aradhana Shukla, District Matri Shakti; BJP District President Mahesh Nayal; Vibhag Convener Himanshu Sah; Vibhag Co-Convener Neeraj Thapa Bittu; District Convener Rahul Bisht; District Co-Convener Anil Verma; District Project Head Manish Tiwari; District Finance Head Kailash Chhimwal; City Convener Deep Chandra Joshi; City Contact Head Suraj Vani; Block Convener Nandan Singh Fartiyal; Dharma Raksha Convener Rajendra Latwal; former Minister of State Govind Pilkhwal; Corporator Vandana Verma; District Panchayat Member Kundan Ram, along with many social workers, public representatives, and citizens.
Speakers highlighted the rich heritage of the Indian Knowledge Tradition and emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting it for future generations. The programme was conducted by Navjot Joshi.
The organisers expressed their gratitude to all the dignitaries and participants for making the event a success.
