Devotees Offer Grand Welcome with Devotion and Enthusiasm

The sacred Baba Vishwanath Jagdish Shila Doli Yatra, marking its 26th year, arrived in Almora on Saturday amidst great spiritual fervor and devotion. The town witnessed a grand welcome as locals gathered in large numbers to greet the Doli with reverence.
The yatra, which began from the ashram, was led by a former minister and reached Almora amid much fanfare. The streets came alive with chants, flower showers, and traditional aartis performed by devotees at various points along the route. The atmosphere was filled with devotion as people sought blessings for prosperity, peace, and the fulfillment of their wishes. Many expressed hope that the spiritual vibrations from the Himalayan region would continue to flow into Almora, enriching lives with divine energy.
Following its ceremonial welcome in Almora, the Doli proceeded to its next destination, Bhawali, where preparations for a grand reception were also underway.
Among those who welcomed the yatra in Almora were its chief organizer Manoj Sanwal, along with former Municipal Chairpersons Prakash Joshi and Shobha Joshi, Prakash Rawat, Manoj Bhandari, Mantu Pratap, Satyal, Bheem Aithani, Hem Joshi, Shekhar Lakhchaura, Ward Members Sanjay Joshi, Guddu Bhatt, Rahul Joshi, Taxi Union President Deepu, Manoj Bisht, Geeta Mehra, Meena Bhaisoda, Kavindra Pandey, Ashwani Negi, Harish, Shefali Tamta, Sanjay Durgapal, Heera Kanwal, Sharad Shah, and many members of the Taxi Union, Traders Association, and local citizens.
In the Dhara Naula region, devotees including Ashok Mushyani, Harish Rawat, Deepak Bhandari, and Ravindra Bisht also participated in the spiritually uplifting event.
The Doli Yatra continues to serve as a vibrant symbol of faith and unity, drawing communities together in celebration of shared spiritual heritage.
