Athletes from National Karate and Martial Arts Academy, Almora delivered an exceptional performance at the Uttarakhand State Muay Thai Championship – 2025, held at the Parade Ground Boxing Arena in Dehradun under the aegis of the Muay Thai Association of Uttarakhand.
Demonstrating outstanding skill and determination, the Almora contingent secured a total of six medals – 3 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze – making their district proud.
Academy coach Yashpal Bhatt, who also competed in the event, led from the front by clinching a gold medal. Speaking after the championship, he expressed immense pride in his students’ performance, noting that their success is the result of hard work and disciplined training.

Coach Bhatt emphasized that the academy will continue to train with the goal of achieving even greater success at national and international levels. The achievement has sparked a wave of pride and celebration across Almora.
