Dhaulchhina: Uttarakhand State Vice Chairman (Minister of State Rank) of the Handloom and Handicrafts Development Council, Govind Pilkhwal, visited Sagwada Tok of Dayari village in Dhaulchhina, an area recently affected by a natural disaster.
During his visit, Pilkhwal met the affected families and enquired about their well-being and the difficulties they were facing. The affected residents apprised him of their problems and requested immediate action for their resolution.
Taking note of the grievances, Pilkhwal spoke to the concerned departmental officials on the spot and directed them to take necessary steps to address the issues faced by the affected people.
He asked officials of the Drinking Water, Electricity and Revenue departments, along with officials of Bhainsiyachhana Development Block, to work in coordination and ensure that the problems of the affected families are resolved at the earliest. He also stressed that eligible beneficiaries should receive the benefits of government schemes without delay.
Pilkhwal said that the state government is giving priority to public welfare and development in every area. He said that, as per the directions of the Chief Minister, every possible assistance would be provided to disaster-affected families and the benefits of government schemes would be ensured for eligible people.
He added that the government stands with the disaster-affected families and that providing all possible assistance to them remains one of its primary responsibilities.
