Maharashtra Community Continues Its Annual Religious Tradition in Almora
Almora. The idol of Lord Ganpati was installed at the Kalika Temple in Johri Bazar, located in Shailakhola Ward of Almora. The installation ceremony was conducted with traditional rituals and prayers, attracting devotees who visited the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Ganpati.
The annual religious tradition is observed by members of the Maharashtra community residing in the area. Devotees participated in the prayers with enthusiasm and prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being for their families and the community.
Ward Councillor Vandana Verma said that members of the Maharashtra community install the Ganpati idol at the Kalika Temple every year. She appealed to devotees to visit the temple, offer prayers and seek the blessings of Lord Ganpati.
