Almora: Kamla Khatri, a resident of Narsinghbari in Almora, has brought pride to her family and the region by successfully clearing the National Eligibility Test (NET) 2026 in Sanskrit with an impressive 97.91 percentile.
Kamla is currently pursuing her PhD as a research scholar at the SSJ Campus. A meritorious student since childhood, she had always aspired to become a teacher. Clearing the NET examination marks a significant step towards achieving her long-cherished goal.
Coming from a modest economic background, Kamla is the daughter of Puran Singh Khatri and Mana Khatri. Her mother, Mana Khatri, works with Aman Sanstha. Despite limited resources, Kamla continued to pursue her studies with dedication and hard work.
Kamla credited her success to her research guide Dr. Prakash Chandra Jangi, Head of the Department Prof. Shalima Tabassum, and her parents for their guidance, encouragement and constant support.
