Former MLA Kailash Sharma leads door-to-door outreach in various areas
Golanakardiya (Special Correspondent). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has ramped up its public outreach campaign in support of its official District Panchayat candidate, Prem latwal. On Sunday, a vigorous promotional drive was carried out under the leadership of former MLA and BJP State Vice President, Kailash Sharma.
During the campaign, BJP workers visited areas including Police Line, Dugalkhola, Malli Maal, and Talli Maal, engaging with residents and urging them to vote in favor of Prem latwal. Addressing local gatherings, Kailash Sharma described Prem latwal as a dedicated, honest, and development-oriented candidate. He emphasized that under the BJP’s vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with all, Development for all), comprehensive development of the region is the party’s top priority.
The campaign saw participation from candidate Prem Latwal, BJP Media In-charge Rajendra Bisht, Satish Lohani, Lalit Kholiya, Kanhaiya Bisht, Ranjeet Bhandari, along with many male and female party workers. Carrying BJP flags, the team raised slogans and conducted rallies in different neighborhoods, highlighting the development work carried out under BJP governments.
Kailash Sharma noted that welfare schemes initiated by the central and state governments are now reaching the grassroots level. He appealed to the voters to rise above caste, religion, and inducements, and to support a capable and progressive candidate with their valuable vote.
The public responded positively to the campaign, with residents welcoming the team with garlands and warm gestures in several locations.
The campaign was conducted with adherence to safety protocols, keeping in mind the ongoing health concerns.
BJP workers claim that the public mood clearly favors their candidate, and they are confident of a resounding victory in the upcoming district panchayat elections.
