As part of a global initiative by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya in 2025, an event themed “Unity and Trust Through Meditation” was held at the Rajyoga Centre in Almora. The international campaign was officially inaugurated on April 17 in Mount Abu by Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah.
The program in Almora was virtually addressed by Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Chakradhari, Chairperson of the Women’s Wing and Director of service centers across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Russia, and the Baltic countries. In her address, she highlighted the growing atmosphere of distrust, hostility, anxiety, fear, sorrow, unrest, and depression in the modern world. She remarked on the increasing commercialization across sectors and emphasized the vital role of Rajyoga meditation and spiritual education being imparted through over 8,500 service centers in 140+ countries.
She said that self-awareness and connection with the Supreme Soul help individuals internalize values such as peace, love, purity, knowledge, joy, trust, and unity, thus becoming contributors to a new world order.
On this occasion, three distinguished women—Dr. Vasudha Pant, Dr. Manju Bora, and Nirmala Joshi—were felicitated with the Empowered Woman Award. Each was presented with a citation, scarf, badge, and a plant. They expressed their gratitude and shared their inspirational thoughts from the stage.
