Almora Literature Festival Hosts Welcome Ceremony for Newly Elected Urban Bank Chairperson
Almora, A grand welcome and felicitation ceremony was organized by the Almora Literature Festival at the auditorium of Shikhar Hotel on Saturday to mark the arrival of Dr. Vasudha Pant, the newly elected unopposed Chairperson of the Urban Bank.
Writers, social workers and prominent citizens present at the event congratulated Dr. Pant on taking up the new responsibility and wished her a successful tenure. Speakers said that her achievement was a matter of pride for Almora.
Dr. Deepa Gupta, Dr. J.C. Durgapal, Prof. Hamid, Jaymitra Bisht, Manoj Gupta, Ashok Pant, P.C. Tiwari, Deepak Joshi, Bhushan Pandey, Hemlata Verma, Kranti Joshi, Deepa Pandey, Rajni Pant, Hira Kanwal, Rachit Pant, Harshita Joshi, Jitendra Bisht and Sanjay Adhikari were among those present at the programme, along with several others associated with the literary and social fields.
Dr. Vasudha Pant was felicitated with a bouquet and a memento on the occasion.
