Almora. PM SHRI Raja Anand Singh Government Girls Inter College, Almora, welcomed its former student Shraddha Joshi Sharma, who is currently serving as a Commissioner of Customs in Mumbai. Her visit turned into an inspiring and memorable occasion for the students.
During her interaction with the girls, Shraddha Joshi Sharma shared experiences from her personal and professional journey and encouraged the students to dream big, set clear goals and work towards them with dedication, discipline and self-confidence.
She emphasized that continuous effort and a positive mindset are essential for achieving success. She also spoke about the importance of leading a simple life with high ideals and encouraged the students to set ambitious goals for themselves.
Recalling her own school days, she shared memories and experiences with the students. Seeing a former student reach a senior position in public administration generated a strong sense of excitement and pride among the girls.
Shraddha Joshi Sharma was accompanied by her parents on the occasion. Her father, Professor G.C. Joshi, is a retired Head of the Department of Botany at Soban Singh Jeena University, while her mother, Leela Joshi, is retired from Arya Kanya Inter College.
Parents, B.Ed. trainees, students and all the teachers of the institution were present during the programme. Principal Vijaya Pant and the school family expressed their gratitude to Shraddha Joshi Sharma and said that her achievements are a source of inspiration for the students of the institution.
Her visit provided the students with an opportunity to learn from a successful former student and encouraged them to dream bigger, remain focused on their goals and continue working hard to build a successful future.
