Almora. A key organisational meeting under the BJP’s Booth Empowerment Campaign was held in Dungra in the Dungra-Bhanoli-Dhyari area. Senior BJP leader Bittu Karnatak attended the meeting as the chief speaker and called upon party workers to strengthen the organisation at the booth level in view of the upcoming Assembly elections.
Karnatak said the BJP’s real strength lies in its booth-level workers. He urged every worker to remain active in their respective booth and communicate the party’s policies as well as the welfare schemes of the Central and state governments to the general public.
He emphasised that strong coordination and active participation among workers at every booth are essential for strengthening the organisation. According to him, booth-level workers play a crucial role in maintaining direct contact with the public and ensuring that the organisation remains connected to people at the grassroots.
Karnatak said BJP workers should not remain active only during elections. Instead, they should continuously stay among the people, understand their problems and make efforts towards their resolution. He said the Booth Empowerment Campaign aims to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and make every worker more active and responsible.
Referring to the upcoming Assembly elections, Karnatak called upon workers to begin comprehensive preparations at the booth level from now itself. He said regular public contact, effective coordination and proper organisational planning would be essential for strengthening the party’s position.
He also urged workers to communicate information about government welfare schemes to eligible beneficiaries and maintain regular contact with people in their respective areas.
Karnatak expressed confidence that the hard work of party workers and the trust of the people would help the BJP move towards forming a strong government in the state once again.
The meeting also discussed booth-level organisational activities, upcoming programmes and the responsibilities assigned to party workers. Emphasis was placed on improving coordination among workers and making organisational programmes more effective at the grassroots level.
Those present included meeting president Pratap Singh Gaira, in-charge Gopal Singh Bisht, Diwan Ram Kohli, Janki Kandpal, Madho Singh Bisht, Jagdish Kandpal, Tara Singh Mehra, Indra Paliwal, Dilip Singh Singwal, Pratap Bhaisoda, Jagat Bhaisoda, Jagat Bisht, Khima Nand Paliwal, Rama Arya, Harish Tiwari, Bhawan Bisht, Dhan Ram, Tej Singh, and dozens of other party workers.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on strengthening the BJP’s booth-level organisation and intensifying preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections.
