Bull trapped in a deep ditch for several days safely pulled out with the help of a crane; Municipal Commissioner Seema Vishwakarma personally monitored the rescue operation
Almora. In a compassionate and prompt intervention, an injured bull that had been trapped in a deep ditch for several days was successfully rescued following the initiative of Municipal Commissioner Seema Vishwakarma. The bull was safely brought out with the help of a crane, while the Municipal Commissioner personally reached the spot and supervised the entire rescue operation.
According to information, the bull had fallen into a deep area after being injured during a fight between two animals a few days ago. One of its legs had suffered a serious injury, leaving it unable to stand or walk. The animal remained trapped at the spot for several days.
Social workers and local residents had been making efforts to provide treatment and care to the injured bull. Despite several days of treatment and attention, there was no significant improvement in its condition. Since the bull was trapped in a deep and difficult location, safely bringing it out had also become a major challenge.
After receiving information about the incident, Municipal Commissioner Seema Vishwakarma immediately took cognizance of the matter and directed the concerned officials to take necessary action. Arrangements were made for a crane to safely rescue the animal, with strict instructions to ensure that no negligence occurred during the operation.
The Municipal Commissioner personally reached the site and monitored the rescue operation. Rather than limiting herself to issuing instructions, she remained present at the location and supervised the entire process to ensure that the injured animal was brought out safely.
Former BJP District President Ravi Rautela, councillor Amit Sah ‘Monu’, councillor Abhishek Joshi and other public representatives, along with local residents, also extended their support during the rescue operation. With the help of a crane, the injured bull was carefully lifted out of the deep ditch.
After being rescued, the bull was taken to a safe location so that further treatment and necessary care could be provided.
Municipal Commissioner Seema Vishwakarma said that leaving an injured animal in such a condition was not appropriate. She said the Nagar Nigam’s objective was to safely rescue the animal and shift it to a suitable place for further treatment and care. She also acknowledged the cooperation extended by the municipal team, public representatives, local residents and the Fire Brigade team.
The successful rescue has highlighted the humane approach and prompt response of the municipal administration. After spending several days trapped and injured, the bull has finally been brought to safety. It is now hoped that with proper treatment and care, the animal will recover soon.
