Alumni Meet Also Organized; Former Students Shared Experiences and Motivated Freshers
Someshwar, Almora. An orientation programme was organized for newly admitted students at Hukum Singh Bora Government Post Graduate College, Someshwar. An alumni meet was also held as part of the programme.
The programme was attended by District Panchayat Member Bhuvan Joshi as the chief guest, while the event was presided over by Principal Professor Avinendra Kumar Joshi.
During the programme, faculty members provided newly admitted students with detailed information about the National Service Scheme (NSS), scholarship schemes, National Education Policy 2020, sports, career counselling and the examination system, along with various academic and co-curricular activities of the college.
At the alumni meet, former students shared their experiences and memories associated with the institution and encouraged the newly admitted students to focus on their studies and career development.
Chief guest Bhuvan Joshi extended his best wishes to the students for a bright future and appreciated the various activities being conducted by the college. In his presidential address, Principal Professor A.K. Joshi welcomed the new students and encouraged them to pursue their studies with discipline, dedication and commitment.
Faculty members, employees and a large number of students were present at the programme.
