Someshwar: Dr. R. S. Bhakuni, Deputy Director of Higher Education, Uttarakhand, visited Hukum Singh Bora Government Postgraduate College, Someshwar, to review the institution’s academic and administrative activities. He was warmly welcomed by the Principal, Prof. Avanindra Kumar Joshi, along with the faculty and staff.
During his visit, Dr. Bhakuni interacted with students and listened to their academic experiences, concerns, and suggestions. He encouraged them to remain focused on their studies, maintain discipline, and actively participate in skill development and co-curricular activities.
Later, he held a detailed discussion with faculty members from different departments on improving the quality of higher education, promoting innovative teaching methods, strengthening research, and ensuring the overall development of students. He appreciated the initiatives undertaken by the college and offered valuable suggestions for further academic improvement.
Principal Prof. Avanindra Kumar Joshi expressed his gratitude to Dr. Bhakuni for his guidance and said that the college would work towards implementing the suggestions to enhance academic standards. All faculty members and staff were present on the occasion.
