A deeply emotional and spiritual atmosphere was witnessed in Almora as five residents of the town departed for the sacred Haj pilgrimage. Kashif Khan, Maryam Khan, Zeenat Khan, Shahida Siraj, and Mohd Zeeshan are scheduled to fly from Delhi to Jeddah on Wednesday morning at 7 AM to begin their holy journey.
Thousands of people from Almora gathered to give the pilgrims a heartfelt farewell. Family members, relatives, friends, and local residents came together to offer prayers and best wishes for a safe and successful pilgrimage. The atmosphere was filled with emotion as people greeted the pilgrims with flowers, warm embraces, and prayers.

The pilgrims will first arrive in Jeddah and then proceed to Makkah to perform the Haj rituals. They are also expected to visit Madinah during their stay in Saudi Arabia. Every year, millions of Muslims from around the world gather in Saudi Arabia for Haj, spreading the message of peace, equality, and brotherhood.
