Almora: Fourteen young athletes from the National Karate & Martial Arts Academy, Almora, are set to showcase their skills at the Uttarakhand State Jujitsu Championship–2025. The information was shared by Yashpal Bhatt, Deputy Secretary of Uttarakhand Martial Art Games and Jujitsu Coach.
The two-day state-level championship will be held from December 5 to 7, 2025, at IGI Sports Stadium, Gaulapar, Haldwani. The participating players will compete in various categories including Fighting, Ne-Waza, and Full-Contact events.

To encourage the players, Jujitsu Association of India – Uttarakhand State President & Director Administration Coach Satish Joshi, District Magistrate Almora Anshul Singh, District Sports Officer Mahesh Arya, Deputy Sports Officer Arun Bagyal, Asian medalist Pragya Joshi, National player Nilesh Joshi, Principals of Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Vivekanand Balika Vidya Mandir, Nitish Kumar, along with parents and Coach Yashpal Bhatt extended their best wishes to all participants for a bright and successful performance.
