Almora, 2025 — In the 5th Almora District Yogasana Sports Championship 2025, organized in Almora, Mayur Dosad and Aditya Dosad, students of National Karate and Martial Arts Academy, Almora, brought pride to the district and their academy by securing the gold medal in the Rhythmic Pair category. The talented brothers have been consistently performing exceptionally in the fields of yogasana and karate.
The two-day competition was organized by the Almora District Yogasana Association under the aegis of the Uttarakhand Yogasana Sports Association, and was held at the main auditorium of Hotel Shivalik. The championship saw participation from students representing various schools, institutions, and clubs across the district.
Under the expert guidance of Coach Yashpal Bhatt, the duo gave a synchronized and impactful performance that impressed the panel of judges. Based on their outstanding display, Mayur and Aditya have been selected for the upcoming State-Level Yogasana Championship, which will be held at the Uttarakhand state level.
In celebration of this achievement, several dignitaries and well-wishers extended congratulations, including State Association President Satish Joshi, District Congress President Radha Bisht, senior social worker Manoj Sanwal, General Secretary Kamal Kumar Bisht, Nilesh Joshi, Didi Pragya Joshi, the students’ mother Asha Dosad, Anant Bisht, Girish Adhikari, Kamal Joshi, Manoj Pandey, and others.
