Almora –
Under the guidance of Dr. Naveen Bhatt, Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora, is conducting a series of free yoga camps aimed at promoting holistic wellness. Today, a yoga session was organized at KD Memorial School, Karnatkholi, led by yoga instructor Kiran Supyal.
During the session, participants practiced asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, and meditation. The trainer also shared valuable insights on the benefits of each practice and necessary precautions.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from both school students and local residents, who reported noticeable physical and mental benefits from regular practice. Many attendees expressed the need for such awareness programs to be held more frequently.
“Unlike some modern medical treatments that can have side effects, yoga therapy is completely safe,” said one participant. “It offers not just physical healing, but also mental and spiritual well-being.”
The ongoing initiative by SSJ University continues to draw increasing interest, creating a positive wave of awareness around natural and preventive healthcare through yoga.
